June 4, 2018 (Monday): Anchors held over night so no  problems. Weather broke this am and now 11:35 am, sunny, light wind , some small waves. Spent today reviewing charts etc. for trip to Sandy Hook (NY). Cleaned boat after storm and organized gear.

June 5, 2018 (Tuesday): Pulled anchors 6:55 am, 342.3, topped off fuel at Canyon Club Marina, 70.2 gal. 343.4. Since last top off at Piney Narrows cruised 20 hrs. so averaged about 3.5 gallons/hr.  Good fuel usage probably due to slight winds and we had  current in our favor, through

C&D  Canal and down Delaware River and Bay to Cape May, ran at 2000 rpm. After top off headed to Atlantic City.  Fair skies and following seas, 5-7' swells so made good time, averaged about 11-12 mph. Faster than anticipated so pushed on past Atlantic City ( photo attached) to Barnegat Inlet, where Barnegat Light is located. During trip saw pod of porpoise feeding off shore (photo attached). Arrived at 4:50 pm, 350.6. Anchored in inlet south of Light and Coast Guard Station. Set CQR anchor without incident. Held all night. Some wind and light rain, cool at night. (photos attached).
